Nokia sued OPPO and filed lawsuits in India and other four countries, adding trouble to Chinese brands

 

Nokia's nam is as old as the name of the tech world.  Nokia is not only very active in the mobile market, but also very active in other technology-related markets.  Fans of this Finnish company are also very popular in India.  Nokia constantly invents new technologies from time to time, and Nokia will also play an important role in 5G operations in India.  A shocking news came out that Nokia, a major player in the technology industry, filed a patent infringement case against a Chinese smartphone brand, which has registered patents in India, the UK, France and Germany.

  According to media reports, Nokia and OPPO signed a license agreement in 2018. Any technology invented by Nokia can be used by OPPO in its products.  Recently, the validity period of the license has been completed, after which Oppo and Nokia had to renew the agreement together.  However, according to sources, Oppo continued to use Nokia's technology and did not re-verify the license. For this reason, Nokia had to file a lawsuit against OPPO.

Because of this dispute between Nokia and OPPO, the Chinese company was arbitrarily informed.  According to Nokia's statement, the company has submitted a license agreement for the new offer to Oppo, but OPPO refused to accept it.  It is legally illegal for OP not to renew the license and continue to use the technology. For this reason, Nokia has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against OPPO.
